我也确实听说OX的项目是最新成立的,所以才比较想知道前景如何,利弊如何,看他们的placement,有不少校友在伦敦的投行,包括中国人.

At Oxford, MFE is an acronym for "Master of Financial Economics" whereas I suppose MFE you've mentioned at LSE is a financial engineering one. These are totally different kinds of programs indeed. FYI, the full-time financial engineering program at Oxford is called MSCMCF (MSc in Mathematical and Computational Finance).

Both these two FE programs are quite young. The Oxford one has been launched since last year. And the LSE one is a newly developed one this year.

I'm afraid many comments are kind of subjective... You may want to raise questions here for more detailed and accurate information. Many of those guys are from UK. It's like the global-derivatives in UK from my point of view.

That is not the point of the argument though, the question is whether OX or LSE will fare you better in Hong Kong?

Originally I thought OX brand is big enough to guarantee at least interviews from iBanks, but according to you guys this may not be the case.

Not really. I still think that OX's Brand is good enough to get at least a interview from IB. But you should have a pretty good GPA/Score(IBs care it when filter resumes). 

Ivy league has great influences for those undergraduates, but not for masters/PhD.
