看了关于OG229以前的讨论，提一个没讨论过的问题

我有个疑问,似乎之前没人提出.就是A,B,C中的WHICH是否能跳跃修饰the technique? 这样的话,A 选项就可以改写为they( many others) liken which (the technique) to putting lipstick on a greek statue. 于是A选项就对了。

这里的liken本身就是个vt，把~比作。所以没问题。

金山词霸的解释是：liken sth. to把某事物比作。

自问自答，现在知道了非限制性定语从句which不能跳跃修饰。that可以。

that恐怕也不可以吧……

他们liken的是degrade the major works of arts 这种行为，which不能修饰一个句子；而且they指代不明，所以a怎么都不对。
