弱问interview时interviewer是否已经看过你的essay？

如题，不知道interview时学校的人对你有多少了解。如是否resume, essay, application form一一都看过。如果是的话，回答问题再用你essay里的那些东西是不是让人感觉重复罗索？

不知道每个学校的政策是怎样的～～

每个学校不一样，我只知道emory是不看其它材料而是面试时看你的resume

那简历是提前看的（就是混在application里提交的那个），还是interview当天我拿着简历去他当场看？

哦是这样。看来Boston的这两家的确与众不同。那么面他们时，岂不一直在repeat, recite自己essay里的素材？还是说要准备些新的materials/topics？

Repetition is fine and expected because they want to know if the person sitting in front of them is the person who wrote the essay! But most often the interviewer wants to know the details of your stories/situations presented in your essays for clarification. Other times, the interviewers simply ask "give me another leadership example" and followed by "another one please!" These 2 schools have the hardest interviews for sure!!

You might not be allowed to use essay stories in the MIT interview. However, sometimes the interviewer will raise some detailed questions specific to your essays.
