难怪头这么疼！最大教训之一：把最想上的留在最后，没必要抢第一轮。YALE是我第一申，现在看写的东西，漏洞还是很多的。比如句子太长，甚至有明显的语法谬误，都是当时赶的。ANYWAY，别了YALE。 GOOD LUCK TO 所有的第二轮申请人。

Sorry to hear that you got the rejection.... Don't be frustrated... Yale has a very small program, so getting in requires a lot of luck~  Good luck with your other applications..

没有邮件，只是log in 网申就可以看到了。I版你是NICE 的，不过我申YALE是有点勉为其难。我的背景曾经很强，但出国后在实验室里厮混了几年，再强的东西也变成弱项了。SOM的第一反应肯定是“你早干嘛去了？”，所以我费很大劲想解释我干啥去了，但很不圆满。另外年龄也是一个因素，估计还没有我这么老的ADMITS。岁月蹉跎啊。虽然年龄大了也可以最求梦想，但如果有些事迟早要做，还是越早越好。

Is there any difference if you apply for R1, R2, or R3 admissions?

I still haven't got any replies from SOM yet, I guess I will get a denial.

R1 and R2 are similar. R3 could be more competative, esp for small program like Yale's.
