on BW, a lot of people are invited to the super saturday..it is for tri-state applicants.I remember you said somewhere that you are in NYC, right? I guess that's what it is for...you should be happy..what is the stress though?

I am in PA, and hence havent heard anything yet..

question for you..when you recieved this msg, did you get an email informing you of a status update first? or you just checked on the website and saw that info???

also, are you invited to this "columbia women in business panel" in the end of Jan?

I am not sure if this is a formal interview invite though, sort of gathering.  never heard of this invite before though.  Do you know if it is a formal interview.  But I will treat it as it is.  Should I wear formal dress? what should I wear, what kinds of questions they are going to ask.  Yes, I am very stressed. Even though I tried the best to finish my application, never thought it would be this ealier, thinking maybe after Feb, so I still have some time to relax a little.

Anyone else got this kind of invite before?

yes, I saw the status change today, and got e-mail too. but I can not check yahoo account from work though, someone using iphone checked for me.

Yes, I was invited to the columbia women in business panel, should I go that?  Did not know if it relates to the application, I ignored the e-mail.  Maybe I should take a look at it again.

i guess this super saturday thing might serve as a formal interview...not sure though...but many ppl in nyc said on the BW that they are invited to the Super Sat thing..

I do not want to mislead you..but if i were you, i'd probably check with the admission office on the dress code as well as whether this is an official interview...

there is totally no point to stress, it just is an interview...you should try to think that an invite like this probably indicates you are ahead of half of the applicants

and...im considering going to the panel...not sure yet...although I have already RSVP'd
