我觉得平行结构中的从句平行的ＴＨＡＴ或是介词短语平行中的介词（除ＴＯ，ＴＯ有时省略）一般是不省略的

前面用的是the, 后面用的是a,　这是特指和泛指平行，不是说不可以这样用的吗？

不行！

As是用来现实时间的，表示是在Joan在担任什么职务期间做了……事。去掉as，第一句就变成了同位语，只是简单修饰主句的主语Joan，时间限制没有了。那Joan之后干的那些事情(interview...)就只是发生在过去的某个未知时间，而不一定是在Joan任职期间了。这样句子的意思就改变了。

而且去掉as还暗示Joan现在还在担任那些职务。这与题目的意思相悖。
