一个语法问题和一道GWD争议题

BE在并列结果中是需要省略的,但为什么在be likely to and be unable to do中却不能省略,是否是因为是系表结构,此外还有什么情况下be不能省略呢?

我看见gwd的答案是A,但一个大牛说实际应该是D.因为it 在句子中指代的是granitic soil,而不是soilmakes difficult而是hard makes difficult.

各位有什么看法

我觉得这里的it是形式主语代替 it is not as hard as to make burrowing difficult or as soft as （it is ）to cause

看的清楚一点就是To make burrowing difficult  is not as hard as or as soft as to casue tunnels to collapse

还是A好，not后面不能接as……as，应该用so……as

木乃伊啊,为什么not后不能用as as,好象是说not后最好用not so as,并不排斥not as as吧

应该选D吧，这道题考点我觉得就是一个平行结构，要对称。

我也觉得这题应该考的是平行结构 只有D最好，但是not so as 确实比not as as好，所以问题就是看他考什么了～

A对，D不对

A无论从对称的角度上考虑，以及从语意上考虑，都没有问题

相反，D，it is not as hard as to make burrowing difficult，解析不通，as hard as 是个比较的概念，如果是D，意思就是“ it 没有像to make burrowing difficult 那么hard” （hard在这里是硬的意思），根本不make sense

另外，it指代granitic soil
