Therefor, from noun entry 2, we can see that the 'much' in 'much of xxx' is used as a noun. It must agree with xxx, which here is 'dioxins', a countable noun. So 'many' should be used instead of 'much'.

把ABCDE五个选项比较一下，显然这里有一个考点是用much还是many修饰复数可数名词，还是从出题者的角度考虑比较现实

一直都是看到dioxins直接选many，反倒是总结了细想了之后犹豫了

我对much的理解就是bluesunxu兄说的

疑问在于，我认为
much of the dioxins表示 large amount of the dioxins
many of the dioxins表示“许多个dioxins”

似乎前者更顺畅些

同意。并列分句中，为避免混淆，第二个分句前的that绝对不可以省略。

关于T牛的这个观点，我抱有疑问。虽然没有在OG上找到同时存在分句并列中因为连词省略与否作为最终判定对错的例子，不过参考OG11-091以及092两题我们可以看到此二处的连词that均被省略。

其次，如假设T牛的观点正确，可以类推出“who”等连词在并列中也因为避免混淆必需要留存。但是事实上OG11-136就很好的反驳了这一推论。

因此个人认为此题中D选项从平行角度来讲没有错误。其第二部分并列成分需要that引导的原因应该从此处定语从句that不可省略的角度来考虑。
