B,C,D出现become,原题没有的最好别加，原题有的尽量保持

be known to be和be known as都可以是固定搭配，但be known as是举世闻名的意思，用在这里不太合适

但be known as是举世闻名的意思，The number of plant and animal species 只能说人类已知(被人类所知),而不能说是举世闻名,或因...而闻名,故排除be known as, (B,E)

be known for好似没有这样的用法(C)

(D)The number of plant and animal species tha are known that humans forced to become extinct 应该是很awkand, 排除

另外还有一个快速的办法就是前面提到的become,这个词在原文划线中要是有的话就保持,要是没的话,其他选项有则一般不对
