虽然做模考打击得都快完了。在考拉的鼓励下,还是坚持把口语和作文也做了。

贴上来,这次是第一次发综合作文吧.没有用模板.可能很不成熟。

In the lecture, the professor casts doubt on the explanation about "risk-taking personality" described in the reading material. The professor maintains that risk-takers choose to do dangerous activities because they are probably confident in their activities instead of committing a suicide; besides, risk-takers do have their rewards both in physical and psychological aspects, which is contradict with what is said in the reading material.

For the first point, the lecturer says that most risk-takers are aware of the danger of their adventure, however they are also confident in their skills, positive attitude, as well as their experience. So they are not trying to commit a suicide as what some psychologists used to regard. For example, most motor cyclers are confident that they can control what they are conducting.

Another point is that the lecturer insists that risk-takers can get rewards in both physical and psychological aspects. For example, airplane divers are doing the exercise which is good for their blood streams, and they can also gain more self-esteem by doing dangerous activities. And this is also casting doubt on the statement in the reading passage, that is risk-takers do dangerous without any rewards.

独立作文也发上来,大家拍拍吧.

Fiction books (novels and … ) or non-fiction books (history, biography, and self-help books), which do you prefer?

In this information explosive world, we are almost buried by millions of lists of books, and we need to make choice for the ones we are going to read due to our time limitation as well as our propensity. Different people must hold diverse opinions, while for me, non-fiction books, such as histories, biographies, and self-help ones, would be my first choice.

To start with, I prefer to spend most of my spare time reading biographies both on great people and ordinary ones, in order to relax as well as inspire myself. The book I like most is The Couple of Marie Curie, which tells a story about the most prestigious couple in the world. Before reading that book, what I knew about Marie Curie was only that she was the first and perhaps the only woman who won two Nobel Prizes. Well, after enjoying their story about the couple's life, research, and their devotion to the whole world, I was completely impressed by their determination to conquer difficulties, Marie's loyalty to her own country and the selfishness to the betterment of human kind. I also like to read stories about common people, I think by seeing about ordinary's story, I can understand more about human personality and the society they are living in.

Besides, I also like to read self-help books very much when I have time. As the society is becoming more and more competitive, we need to acquire as many skills as we can. And self-help books are the convenient, economical and efficient means for us to achieve this purpose. Two years ago, I started to read books on cooking, and I have learnt to done several fantastic dishes that even my mother is not able to. I like that kind of feeling and I believe this will do me great favor in the future, especially I live outside in distant countries alone. As a matter of fact, we can almost learn anything we like by reading self-help books now.

Last but not least, reading histories benefit me a lot in understanding contemporary issues. We all know that when we make interpretation or predictions, we need personal experience or knowledge other channels. History books are really a treasure for this precious information. In the long river of human history, a lot of events took place and accumulated generation after generation, all of which could get we stand on the past to better put cast ourselves for the future.

Actually, I read non-fiction books not only to gain knowledge, but to relax. In the process of absorbing this interesting and fruitful narrative books, I always forget all other things about my work and get refreshed every time. All in all, I prefer to read non-fiction books in my spare time, since it both enriches my knowledge and helps me to relax thoroughly.

ibt_Complete_guide_TOEFL 阅读6/33  也不怎么样.这个有点儿绕.

我发现了两点:

今天的状态不好,因为我听OG的效果都不如以前好.即便OG已经听过了.我对内容没什么反应了.

ibt_Complete_guide_TOEFL的听力和考试肯定不一样.
