Yeah, really no need to argue publicly here. Apply for whatever schools you want, since you have all rights to do that. Everybody has his own choice. For some people, it is no need to have many master degrees to apply for a PhD, for some, it means better chances to go to a top school or to do well in a top school. There is really no sure answer to whether it's worthwhile to have so many master degrees.

For finance phd application, it's really tough and competitive. I guess as more people are collecting masters in order to prepare themselves better for finance phd application, maybe soon it will become harder and harder for those who don't have an exceptional education background to get admitted.

     These definitely are not the reasons for the quarrel thing, it's totally personal and misunderstood! Totally my Fault ！I though he is someone else (one of my old friends )so i thought he lied here. but it turns out to be all my fault. I misunderstood!

得过奥赛金牌嘛? I think THU is a much bigger name than any school you've been in US and 奥赛金牌 is a huge plus!

I got two master degrees in US, but it just makes me feel like a loser. I looked through the student profiles in UCLA,Kellogg, Yale etc. they seem to prefer the bachelors who graduated from top-notch schools in US with the Summa Cum Laude. Another common sense is that the real cowbees rarely 回帖. Dont expect an answer from here. But I think you should try top 15 schools and it is not a big surprise that you get a dozen of offers, or denied by all.
