Currently I'm working for a top-tier I-bank focusing on NPL business in China. It's true that AMC lost money in the first auction dated on August 2001, but for now, with the fierece competition, AMC really is in a much better position.
I do believe these foreign investors will not have too much advantage after AMCs are granted the right to manage their NPL by 承包制.
