我有个疑问，一定要主从句的主语都一致吗？如果这样，As stupid as they are, we walk a wrong way.跟他们一样白痴，我们也走了错路。可以吗？

你举的例子和177中的不同，是as...as的两个用法。你的例子是象...一样。
177中应用的是concessive clauses ，相当于though。

我觉得还是指带不一致的问题，因为你所举的例子里 我们和他们是有可比性的，但是选项2 里 many business executives 和 many young recruits 是没有可比性的所以错。并不是说many business executives 和many young recruits 一样poorly educated and trained 。

呵呵，中文这样可以说得通，但是英文的话，这句话还是concessive clauses吗？值得思考一下。
另外，这句话应该用although来引导会更合适：although they are ill-prepared, we can help them find good jobs. 如果用as...as来引导让步的话，在语感上感觉很不好－－念起来很不顺口。英文里应该没有这种表达方法。
