请问无管理背景申请的几率

感觉，申请的战友们要么是外企的，要么是国营大企业，要么是私企老板。请问，非盈利性的搞科普，这样的工作单位，工作性质是外事和公共关系，如果g和t成绩不错。有多少希望。好多top的mba是不是为了提高排名和实力，招收学生从diversity来考虑？那样，我这样的背景，是不是有希望？当然，我理解是80％的录取学生都是商业背景的。唉，叹息呀。

Honestly your background is tough for top-10. However, even with W/E in 科普, you still can try to dig deeper in your experience, such as: how did you deal with other people, how did you lead a task, etc...

fine. u could be a special guy now. anyway, u shall express ur potential both in leadership and ur contentrations. by the way, one buddy told her top 10 bs gave admissions to some sportsmen and artists.

are you asking whether you should apply as soon as possible this year? Or you are trying to decide whether to apply this year or next year? In fact, for this year, it is not early now.

For your background, you may also need to think about how your background can benefit others. I know some schools like applicants with government backgrounds.

I am planning to apply msu for 2004 because my lp is there. I know that time is running out soon. I just finished my gmat and I plan to get all the materials ready in one week and send before Jan.
My work deals a lot with management indeed, but not financial one. in my 4 years work experience, I travelled to most of European countries and Japan, south korea , the states twice. I don't know whether this will add something to my possibility of getting the admission or not. thanks for brothers' information and help.

Are you in U.S already? If so, I strongly suggest you to visit school and talk with adcoms. That will give you huge advantage over other applicants.

thanks, i will marry my gf late this year. and the earliest time I will get to the states is mid Jan.  And Jan. 13th, is the dthe second eadline.I plan to mail my application files before Jan. Right now I am consulting with companies doing essay, and meantime, I kind of want to write the essay by myself and then have some american friend correcting. Do you think it is still not late for me to talk to the admi if I can get there Jan.?
