Ok, seriously. Your package should be an organism, and any of your idea should be related with one another to reflect your view as a whole.

Trust me, you don't want to mix up with other's, any incoherence may be very obvious in the Admissions Board's eye, and ruin your application.

So a better way is not to listen to other's idea at all.
