请问大家：TOP10的学校会不会招收已经有MBA学位的人？（听起来有点奇怪）

我没有工作经验，现在在美国读一个3流的MBA

我很矛盾：1，放弃现在的，然后工作，然后申请TOP的（晕，难道我真的有TOP情节？）

                  2，继续现在MBA。可是我不甘心，而且以后肯定没什么竞争力的。

所以我想：可不可以有了MBA学位后，工作个几年，然后再读TOP的？反正我很年轻，也不需要挣钱养家，一直以来觉得TOP的学校是个挑战，我不想被打败。

 我有个在纽约工作的朋友说：你有了MBA的同时，TOP的就向你关门了，美国人会认为：你有了MBA学位了，还读了干吗。 这是真的吗？

Maybe there is some value in the current program. I think LZ sees it as a opportunity to a better job, and then a better chance for top MBA. So reluctant to quit.

To answer the question, I have to say, they will, but your situation'll be awkward and the road'll be harsh--not only for your future application.

Neither approach you mentioned sounds practical, and I'm sure these two are not your only alternatives--there are plenty of choices.

I don't intend to encourage you into anything, but I think for a man who "从来没有怀疑过自己的能力和智商", perhaps to defeat their best students in the business world is a better way to challenge and conquer TOP schools.

Although personally, I think to "隐居山林或海边" really, really need a top MBA, and so I'm struggling.... - -|||

That is tough question. 

The first way I can think about is that to get another master degree.  For example, apply a IT master (or other major you current school can not offer or a very poor program) in U. of Michigan beore 2 nd year of your current MBA program. Then go and get a master degree, and later try a top MBA. Your excuse can be that there are 800 programs in US for MBA but only a few good program for the other degree and that degree is essential for future career goal.  But it really depends on your undergraduate major.

The second way or the best way I can think about is that to help someone do a start-up company or all be yourself.  Then go back for MBA program later.  Your excuse can be that to open a start-up is timely important; you like to take risk and challenge yourself with real problems.  If it works, you will be distinct yourself from majority applicants.  Just think about Bill Gates quit from Harvard. But it is risky.

现在读完这个MBA（排100名，也算TOP吗？ ^-^ )，这辈子都怕没有机会读TOP10的了。（怎么感觉象在做LSAT题目）

我为什么非要读TOP10的？我也不知道，因为我觉得TOP10的学校，对我来说，是临界的感觉，我努力努力，差不多。。。但。。。我现在的处境又很恶心。。。

上帝啊，如果你真的存在的话，就让我在这个帖里找到我想要的答案，指导我一下（那如果我真的找到了答案，发言的那个人岂不成了上帝的化身？你想成为上帝的化身吗？快回复吧，就当帮帮我）

u've another choice.
u can get this degree first, then look for a job.
After several years, u can apply for top mba, but remember that u shouldn't tell them u've already got a mba.
But i wonder u can find an attractive job with current mba, cause u have no experience before.

Advanced degree sometimes help you get a higher position (for example, Analyst vs. Senior Consultant/Associate), so if "higher starting position (and higher salary)" is what you want, probably you need an advanced degree to look for a job. but in my opinion, use your bachelor degree to get into a good firm (consulting, IB), spend couple years there, and then apply a TOP whatever B-school could be a good way to go.

I do want to get a job like consultant or IB. several years later, I have strong background to apply a TOP BS.

The problem is I cannot enter a famous consulting company with current background...

Woo, maybe I can try some other consulting companies except Mckinsey and BCG...
