Are parents the best teachers?

上次写了一篇被批没有细节，这次花了一个小时，不知道算不有细节，请狠拍！！

Are parents the best teachers? When it comes to such a question,it is inevitable that a controversy would come up. Some people tend to belive that parents cannot be the best teachers due to some deficiencies they own, while other people hold the opposite view. As far as I am concerned, I tend to agree with the later, the specific reasons are as follow.

 

To begin with, it is undeniable that parents are those who love us best in the world. Being parents, they devote all their life to cultivating their offspring without any requirement. For the time we were born, we have become the focus of their life. They not only provide us the necessary material things in order to make us grow up healthly, but also try their best to ensure a wholesome environment for us to form a healthy personality. Teaching us how to talk, how to walk, they are so patient that no one could match with. Besides, they teach us how distinguish what's wrong from right. Some people might claim that parents also have some deficiencies which would bring negative effection to us. However, please don't forget that since they love us so much how could they let us inherit their shortcomings! Our parents always try to let us inherit all their merits and avoid their demerits. I have such experience when I was a teenage.My father, the person I admit most,likes somking. He often told me that it was such a bad habit to smoke, so you could learn all the other things from me except this one. See, that is our parents! So I think it is clear that parents are the best teachers who help us form a good habit and develop a good personality.

 

Further more, having lived with us for so many years and seen us growing up day by day, parents are the people who know us best.They not only know what we are good at and what we are interested in, but also know when we need encouragements and when we need some cautions. Since we were babies they began to exploit our potential and hoped we could be better than them. When we grow up, they let us learn to be independent although they prefered us to stay with them rather than to leave them. Forcing us to make dicision by ourselives, they would keep an eye on us staying somewhere we could not perceive. Under the guide of our parents could we grow up truely with the ability to deal with things independently. In short, the more important knowledge we have learned in our life come from our parents, who, of course, are the best teachers for us.

 

Finally, no matter what happen, parents are always the most reliable persons we can trust. The morden society is so complex that one may easily be hurt by other people for the reason that to be selfish is human. Thus, we might be tired of affiliating with other people under the mask.In this case, when we need someone who could give us suggestion when we have to make a crucial decision, we could turn to our parents. They are always ready for us. Thus, I can say that parents are the pharos of our life, who guide us to live a bright life.

 

In conclusion,I strongly hold the opinion that the best teachers of our life are not those who merely impart special knowledge and skills to us, but those who help us develop a wholesome personality and teach us how to live a positive life. So, after the above discussion, I can safely reach the conclusion that parents are the best teachers.
