In this lecture, the professor discusses the impact of the “eco-tourism”. She says ,in fact, “eco-tourism’ is inevitable has some negative impact. She says that the claims in the passage are very different and somewhat inaccurate when compared to the lecture.
First, the professor says establishing the “eco-tourism” would pollute the environment. Builing the “eco-tourism” needs some infrastructure, such as, road. Pollution, such as, air pollution, water pollution will be produced during establishment these basic facilities. It is different from the passage which said that the “eco-tourism” is conservation.
Second, the illegal hunters will be more difficult to control. The road will bring convenience to the people who illegal to hunt animals, cut trees and obtain some treasure things. The point contradicts what the passage says that the government will protect the “eco-tourism.
Third, actually, the local people can not obtain as much benefit as imagination. The most important thing is that the jobs offered by the “eco-tourism” with the low salary. In addition, more people will come from other places to compete with the local people for the jobs when more people know the place.
