Glad I can help, ^_^ I have to admit that all the thing you mentioned in the last post is true--the American guy's opinion about MBA, your friends' idea about accounting. Now, the good thing is you have figured out the pros and cons for each alternative. And now, what you need to do is to make it clear what is the most important to you. All these are big pictures and general ideas, and you are the only one who can consider these with your own specific situation and expectation and make the final decision. It sounds that the first priority to you is getting a job in the US in the future, and it is the main reason that makes you worried and confused. If you are afraid that MSF is not good enough for you to get a job, of course I can't promise you anything, but I can tell you I am very positive about this. You are a senior in college, and you must have heard what they say about the employment situation this year, and certainly you know exactly how the situation really is. It's the same as you heard about MSF. Admittedly, MBA or accounting means more opportunity, but MSF is not a dead-end, and most important, it suits your current goal.  eople exaggerate and can be emotional. I'm sorry I can't offer you any concrete figures either, but what I heard of MSF is not that bad. Consulting? An engineer can make it, why an MSF can't? In my view, if you decide that your goal is working a couple of years in the US and you want it as soon as possible, then MSF works for you. However, for your future and your career, I think that to have some working experience first is more advisable--not only for MBA. I see some brilliant quality and potential in you, and maybe your future should be more than what you want now. Although I agree that "America isn't any better," I don't see life as an investment case, which can be measured by money, time, or career success, and "must do it right." In fact, I don't think anyone can tell whether you do it right or not. Without surprise and exciting, life is exactly an accounting job, which you are not interested in, isn't it? Life is not something can be or should be carefully planned. If you find it really hard to make a decision, maybe just because MBA or MSF doesn't actually make much difference for you (which is exactly what I think), the one has more advantage here must have more disadvantage there, so choose the approach which you think you will most enjoy in. After all, what important is not the academic degree, but what you will become as a unique person (or rather a happy person, I wish, ^_^) in a couple of years. So don't worry too much. Good luck ~ ~ |
