About the speaker: PHIL HUNT “Executive Director – MBA & Career Services”  Richard Ivey School of Business An Ivey grad himself (MBA 1986), Phil Hunt returned to work for Ivey in March ‘04 after twenty years in senior management positions with Xerox Canada and other firms in the software and telecommunications sector. His initial role at Ivey as ‘Director, Career Management’ was to create the strategies to maintain Ivey’s position as the preferred hiring source for business leaders internationally. In August 2005, after serving on the internal strategy committee that introduced the 12-month MBA and “Cross-Enterprise Leadership” he added the MBA Program Office to the portfolio. As a result, Mr. Hunt has responsibility for the full life-cycle of the student, from admissions, through the Ivey experience while in the program, to success attainment of their first career placement.
