You many want to know that MSU MBA program never accept transferring studemt from another MBA program unless you transfer in before your original program starts or an applicant having a MBA degree before.

Regarding the experiences and job search, it is yes and no. Your previous experience will surely help you get interviews; however, I have seen many persons landed their internships and job without relevant experiences. It will be difficult especially for international students; but, it is still a good chance to do that if you work hard. Anyway, It is the case for MBA program and I don't know if it is for master/phd students.

But that happened to my friend, who has IT background and wanted to pursue a career in financial analyst.  The reality is he only got a intern at a insurance agency doing filing work(unpaid), and never got an interview after graduation.  He got an IT job for one year during OPT and went back because he could not get visa sponsorship.  Can you tell me how large is the typical gap between the work experience and job your friend got?
