以下是引用Whitney在2007-11-5 3:52:00的发言: I think that LZ have to read "How to get into the top MBA programs" by Richard Montauk.
Low GPA can tell a few things; One- you are not smart enough for top MBA - This part is easily fixed by a good GMAT score; Two- you are a lazy student who lacks of motivation and will not fit for challenging lifes during and after top MBA - This is tough part. You have to prove (not simpley by your essays) that you are a different person who can stand up and face challenges. Go back a bad college and get a good GPA are just not enough- it actually damages your application because it shows that you is a loser who try to run away from problem. For students from 2, 3流大学, they can show this by going to top school for master degree, etc. So my suggestions are: 1) if you can have a job in a well-known employee, then go there and get a good experience, as time passed by - GPA is less important; 2) Go to US/UK for a master degree. At least this will partly show you wish and can face challenges; 3) Go to top University in China for a master degree which is different from your undergraduate major. The purpose is the same as the 2) one.
Third, you have no idea about your future - you can talk it in your essay.
