Hi saphirelucky,

Sloan puts lots of emphasis on behavioral-based interviews. Therefore, the interviewers tend to dig deeply into your past experiences and thought process at that time. Normally, they will ask you about your essays and resume in detail. So think through your past experiences and points you mentioned in your resume and essays.

Below are some questions that I can recall:

1. Why MBA, why now, why Sloan

2. Experience of persuasion

3. Quality perceived by others, but it might not be necessarily true

4. Situation when you show creativity

5. Greatest achievement

6. Solve conflicts (Teamwork)

7. Leadership experience

8. Ethical dilemma

For this one, the admissions want to see your self-awareness. For me, I would treat this one as the area I can further improve upon since others' perceptions may not be my true qualities. Therefore, this means I can improve on showing my qualities to others in a better way and let them know me in all aspects.

Hi Amy9301,

I think Sloan is like all other b-schools regarding GMAT scores. It is only one of the initial criteria you need to meet before an interview is extended. As long as you pass a certain threshold (usually the school mean score or above 700), it really doesn't matter how high your GMAT is. Admissions Offices will look at the whole application package rather than GMAT only. However, a high GMAT score will never hurt you.
