这个是我TOEFL IBT处女作文,写德不好大家要见晾啊!大概用了35分钟还是太慢啊!

题目是:

Always telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.             

     Is telling the truth the most improtant ?

As we know ,telling the truth is very important in today’s society, a person will not  be trusted if he often lies to others ,a company cann’t survive if its stuff cheat in the business ,a country can not develop well and win the support  if it often  makes fake contracts with other countries.So there is a saying that telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship.

But I don’t think that this saying holds water all the time .

First of all , take the friendship into consideration . Indeed telling the truth is showing respect to one’s friendship and lying often does harm to the friendship. In ancient China  it is stated in the law that if a person cheats others ,he /she will be put into prison. And being frank has been considered as  a mortal virtue  for thousands of years. But sometimes I have to telling the “white lies”, if doing so can reduce the risk or the pain  which my friends will suffer,or doing so can increase the happiness for my friends .For example, if one of my friend is ill,lying in bed ,and when he asks me whether everything is going well ,I  will say yes because maybe doing this will not make him worry about other things .

Secondly, let’s come to another relationship, the opponent. If I am  the opponent of someone ,and if there is no need for me to tell the truth which  will cause me trouble or loss,I will not tell the truth or say” no commend” to my opponent, for example , I am working in an high-tech company who is in charge of developing a new kind of electronic equipment ,and if my opponent comes to ask me how it is made and wants me to give him the details about the product ,so if I tell the truth and give him the crucial details ,my company will suffer a lot and I will therefore lose my job .And in today’s society ,as countries are competing with each other ,and high-tech is the foundation of a country to develop well ,at this time ,telling the truth is not always a beneficial way for a country to develop, and keeping something secret is also essential.

So it depends on which condition I am in, Under most occasions ,I will tell the truth , bu他sometimes if lying is a better way, I will choose telling a lie.

还有一个问题就是我发现，我写做用的词语和ＯＧ上的相比较而言，还是简单些，恩，这样有没有把我的意思传达清楚？还有他们评试卷的时候，是不是比较高级的词语越多越好？
