贷款/奖学金申请表里面很多内容我都不懂是啥意思，有些知道是啥意思的也不知道对应的具体数是多少，这个怎么处理，空在那里？

他还要一个biographical essay，这个需要再写一篇essay然后一起传真过去？

他家的奖学金申请跟educational loan申请是分开的

奖学金申请要在每个申请轮次截至后大约1周之内交申请表和自传

educational loan是在3月1日前交申请表和个税申报表或者单位出的收入证明

其实我也有个问题，tuck说的educational loan跟之前看到有人说的那个到了美国填个表就能申请的花旗的商业贷款是一回事么？要是赶不上3月1日的deadline难道只能自己在国内想办法解决学费么？

我就这个问题问了tuck的admission offer.她官方回答如下。

The March 1 deadline is an eligibiltiy deadline for the
Application for Tuck School of Business Scholarship.  If
you wish to be considered for Tuck School of Business
Scholarships, this application is due by March 1, 2008.

        
The March 1 date is not an eligiblity deadline for the
International Application for Tuck School of Business
Financial Aid & supporting documentation.  The March 1
deadline is set for those applicants who are offered
admission and want to receive a financial aid award
package prior to admitted students weekend.  If you choose
to wait until you know if you are offered, you will still
be eligible for loans.  It may take a little longer to get
your package as we will package those whose documents were
received by the March 1 date first

我对该文字的理解是：3月1日奖学金截止，贷款申请并不截止。并且该日期是对已经收到offer的人来说的。从对该段文字的理解来看，1月申请tuck的学生，因为其收到offer的时间是3月21日，所以已经没有了申请奖学金的权力。从这个意义上来说，只要是在3月1日之后拿到的offer，等同于不能申请奖学金。但是贷款申请没有问题。

请教tuck2009：申请贷款表格只需填写年收入/家庭资产等情况，并未要求填写申请的贷款额度/贷款种类等问题，请问申报的个人收入/家庭资产情况会影响最后可以申请的贷款额度吗？是否资产填写的数目越高可以申请的额度越低呢？谢谢！！！

No, Tuck offers need-blind educational loans to all international student (every int'l student can loan up to the full expenditure minus scholarship/outside grant). It's not related to how much you or your family owns. However, it's another story when you are applying for I-20, which we can discuss later. For now, be honest in this form.

From my understanding, scholarship and loan application are separate process (although the same application form).

1. If you didn't submit the application form before the decision date of your round, you will not be considered for scholarship. The decision of scholarship is announced together with your offer, so if you don't get it on your offer letter, there is no need to wait for it.

2. As long as you submit the form with your pay tub before Mar. 1, you are eligible for loan.

3. In the application form, some items are not applicable to Chinese applicants, so feel free to write 0 for it.

4. About the biographical essay, i'm not sure as it was not part of the application last year, check with FA office.

Feel free to check with financial aid office on this, just make sure you are clear about what you ask.

No, Tuck Educational loan is provided by another private institution (NHHEAF), not Citigroup. You can apply for the commercial loan at Citigroup after you get your offer, but it requires American citizens to co-sign your application.

You only need to submit application form and pay tub by Mar. 1, so it shouldn't be that difficult. (You will need to provide other information later when requesting I-20), but that's another story that you don't have to worry now.

Tuck2009师兄, 我上个月拿到Tuck's offer, 想请教一下今年的internship就业形势。我是software engineer背景，想毕业后进投行。我想问一下你们这一届中国学生找banking internship的情况怎么样，尤其是像我这样engineering backround 的 career switcher. 没有金融背景，想在wall street找internship难吗？尤其是今年这么差的金融市场。

已经提交了申请educational loan的表格了。

既然说道I20，顺便问一下这个东东是资金证明开好后主动向学校要还是学校有单独安排呢？
