Job placement is just as good for one-year MBAs.  However, you need to begin your classes in the summer and it is extremely busy from what I can see.

If you want to have a big switch in career, better take 2Y which gives u a summer intern to test the water and this applies worldwide in any B-school as far as I think. So as long as you stay focus, you don't have to worry about job placement.

I don't think Kellogg has preference to age or industry. But people need to prove that they have bigger achievements or stonger leadership when they are older.

Kellogg students are really diversified. Maybe finance people are not as many as in Wharton or Columbia. But I think it's because finance people just don't want to go to Kellogg not because Kellogg doesn't like finance people. There are a lot of classmates from finance industry. Many Kellogg students are from consulting background and go to consulting firms for full-time job. Kellogg has very solid relationship with consulting firm.

Don't worry about your age and background. Just try you best. Good luck

请问一下，我提交了partI申请第一轮，但是现在essay觉得还没有ready,不提交partII,学校会自动把我算到第二轮吗？还是我要专门跟学校说一声？

You have to submit both parts before the deadline in order to be considered for that round.

请问下，如果在第三轮申请的话，对录取有多大影响，录取的概率是不是会小很多？

Generally saying, it’s better to avoid the last round. It’s harder than other round simply because there’s probably not many spots left. With that said, there are people admitted from round 3 every year.

You probably should send an email to adcom to make sure that they will still put you into R1.
