Countries should not isolate themselves from the world, but instead engage other countries. Use examples and reasons to support your position.
The foundation of the United Nation is a symbol that the world is no longer made by separated elements. Countries should come together to be partners, friends and workmates, learning from other’s strong points to offset their own weakness and then achieving the same goal---improving people’s quality of life. Nevertheless, few countries still isolate themselves from the rest of the world in the hope of accomplishing the goal by themselves. From my perspective, they invariably neglect that world is developing everyday, and if ever they could not catch up with others, they will receive loss. Considering the merit of engaging other countries, I undoubtedly agree with this statement.
Competitions between country against country and country’s self-development compel leaders to think about building up a sort of partnership with others. With the cooperation, countries might acquire the maximum benefit and advantages from others, say, minimum or free tariff, labor-supporting and frequent civilian communications. On the other hand, isolated countries would not attain supports as a result of not be open nations. The existence of brotherhood or partnership between countries attributes to the benefit-exchange, and only contributes on the satisfaction with each other. It is simply to see that isolated countries do not trade with others and could not become partners with others. Consequently, they fail to keep the pace with others and develop.
Take the APEC for example. Have you seen this picture in the newspaper that the partner regions’ supreme leaders from APEC wore the traditional Australian clothes waved their hands? APEC is a regional organization and the members regions in APEC are located around the Pacific Ocean. During the last decade, some countries’ leaders realized that it was crucial and beneficial to found an organization that promoted the coordination and cooperation among the countries around Pacific Ocean. Recently, with the effect of the APEC, our life, gradually, has been changed. However, a country located around Pacific Ocean does not share the membership of APEC- DPRK (North Korea). As we all know that North Korea has been isolated since World War 2 and presently is a country with low quality of life. In contrast, one member country of APEC, South Korea, located on the south of DPRK, receives enormous benefits from other member countries: China, the United States and Japan, turning out into one of the well-developed countries in Asia.
It is inevitable that an isolate country will not be lost in the brutal competition between countries. And people in those isolated countries are going to the victims. As I have said above, country should engage other countries instead of being alienated. 好像有点偏题 不过一定要看一下哦 谢谢了 师傅 |
