MBA program 中的 specialization 在毕业证上会注明吗？

哪位大虾知道，在选择专业方向时，不同的方向对毕业后的就业影响有多大？

用人单位会看重专业方向吗？另外，如题，毕业证或学位证上会注明所修的专业方向吗？

个人觉得这是一个很重要的问题，劳请大虾指点。

I can tell you that my school doesn't specify that in the diploma but it doesn't guarantee every other school will do the same thing.

Yes, different schools have different policies.

In most of cases, the diploma you will get will not show the specific concentration or major you study in business school. You should mark it in your resume. And indeed, your choice of concentration will have big impact when you find different kinds of jobs.

另外, 在申请时,是否应该非常慎重地关注某学校的某方向是否在该方向上排名靠前呢? 如果

选的学校综合排名TOP10甚至更靠前, 但自己偏爱的方向只有TOP20左右, 该如何抉择呢?

反过来,方向靠前,学校综合排名又一般般呢?

As I have said, when employers read through your resume they will know your concentration that marked in it, then when they decide if it is necessary to give your a interview. On the other hand, if you got the interview, you can talk about what courses you have studied in school and what kind of project or case competition you have involved in. However, the diplomma you received will not show the concentration you study. I think it is true in most American business schools.

I'm now a first-year MBA student in the US. From the information I get, the major or concentration strength is more important than the overall ranking of school. For example, Kellogg will have much fewer graduates get in the investment firms than NYU or Wharton.
