基本上录取了就不会再check任何东西了。只是进INSEAD只是一个敲门砖，快毕业找工作的时候，以前的工作经验还是会被招聘单位反复追问的（虽然不用给什么书面证明）

这话似乎不太准确。

据我所知

1. INSEAD录取以后还是会有一定程度的背景调查的，而且被发现造假的后果很严重。不过可能不是所有人都做。

2. 至于工作录取，发offer的时候公司一般不会做背景调查，但是大部门公司，到入职前是会做的，而且都还挺严格，会要求被录取者提供学历，工作证明，学习成绩等等等等证明，有一些公司还会委托专门的公司做背景调查。

i have just been accepted by Insead, but quite concerned of financing problem.

did you get a loan from BRED or BNP? they ask for guarantee.  is this something that banks will usually do for us?  do i just need to pay a fee to the bank as a percentage of the total guarantee, or do i actually need to have the amount of assets equals the loan amount?

Really enjoyed this increditably rich and helpful forum charaterized by solidarity. Just two words to introduce myself:

Education: bachelor's degree Shanghai/97 and master's degree in Finance  Lyon/02.       Work experience: 2 years as originator of syndicated loan in Shanghai and 7 years as NL analyst at the beginning and Treasury Trader now in a leading IB in Paris (during which I spent several months in London,HK and Tokyo for a mission).

It will be also difficult for Insead students to get jobs in IB sector next year, whereas I reinfoced my determination to apply this school next year after a Font campus In-house visit few weeks ago because I'm resolutely convinced that Insead MBA study have to be very beneficial for my mid/long term goal.

I'd like to ask two questions to Insead current students or alumni: 1. do you think the relative old age (34 in my case) will slash my admission chance ?    2. do you socialize efficiently with your classmates during such intense year?  Here is my email: lfrgaoxiang[在] yahoo.com Merci bcq!

1) As I know, 36 is the up limit age for INSEAD students.

2) Depends on your social skills and what you want to get from socialization

Factually it will be difficult for any b-school student to apply finance job in current situation. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for your response.  We will probably avoid the great depression within next few years as everyone has become John Maynard Keynes since Lehman's demise. Anyway, if the asian economy won't touch its bottom at the end of 2009 and I can succeed to get admitted, I will opt for taking a "Sabbatical year", a right giving an employee in France, under certain conditions, to have a long leave of absence without pay and being fired.
