C是polar ice caps 和 sea levels并列，虽然都是静态名词，但是你不能说极地冰帽和海平线是温室效应的结果吧？！它们是自然存在的东西。

D是melting和sea level并列。

E是melting 和rise 并列，都是动作的名词形式。所以选E
