should只能表示"应该"的语气么,怎么我好象在那道题里曾经看到should有表示对未来进行预测的用法,所以就选了D,之前还以为本题是考察的是平行对称结构和should的特殊用法呢.请NN指教

首先说D：“their steers ”中的their指代谁？前半句只有一个主语：cattle breeders ；

从语义上来看，我觉得此题并不是平行结构。只是一个问题的两个原因表述。
