When this question is present in front of people, we can receive different answers because knowledge backgrounds and personal experiences vary from person to person. But according to my own experience, I would like to say that the knowledge we obtain from our school is the most important.
First of all, obviously we can get comprehensive and system knowledge from the school, which couldn't be available outside of school. For most people, they can receive the systemic learning about most fields of sciences and arts in the school, for instance geology, biology, mathematics, economics, and the like. On the basis of these courses, they can easily build their distinct views toward outside matters and affairs. If a man didn't have an opportunity to study these courses in the school, we can imagine whether he can form his comprehensive knowledge for the world and the society just based on his some experiences accumulated outside the school. The answer is "he cann't" obviously. So the knowledge we absorb in school is the most important because it is much more comprehensive and systematic to contribute our viewpoint toward matters in the world.
Furthermore, the knowledge we learn from the school is conducive to our thinking. We can borrow classic methods used by giants in science fields in our problem solving so that we can deal with those problems more efficiently and effectively. In our daily lives, there are so much complicated obstacles which seem to be no way to handle, however, we will find that there are lots of elaborate approaches used in science researches, which can be transplanted in our problems directly so that we can solve it and save much money as well as time. Thus, the knowledge we learn in school is most important because it is beneficial to our problem-handling in realistic life.
Collectively, based on reasons mentioned above, we can naturally draw the conclusion that our knowledge got from courses in school is most important to us. |
