国内的论文著作对申请美国的PHD有多大作用？

我还没考TG，说实话我真怕考试。但自我感觉喜欢学术研究，时不时有些新点子。写一些东西。上半年参编了一本教材。下半年一家北京的学术刊物要上我一篇论文。属于国家经贸类核心期刊。

国内的发表的这些文章对申请有帮助码？也想用英文写，但身边的资料少的可怜，难啊！
请指点。

我觉得教材一点作用都没有，国外教授不相信。会觉得你不懂什么叫学术！
至于论文，又总比没有好！

Chinese paper has little value, although it is better than nothing.

It is helpful if you want to apply for tier 3 or 4, but it has little value for top 50.
Even many Profs in tier 4 univ have never published any paper in top journal.
