What’s your opinion on building a large shopping center in our neighborhood?

 

I live in the uptown of Shanghai far from the centers of shopping. When I want to buy something of good quality, I have to travel for more than 3 hours to go to the nearest large shopping center. If there will build a large supermarket with a lot of attached clothes and shoe shops in our neighborhood, I think it would be a great idea for the benefit of all the people of our community. Large shopping could supply people with plentiful high-quality goods, save people’s time on traffic and provide better service and convenience to all.

 

Nowadays supermarkets are imperative to people’s life. At the weekend working people flood into the supermarket to buy the easy food, which are of good quality and easy to cook, for the following whole week. If people want to buy electronic equipments, supermarkets could be the best markets to compare all the electonic comodities of the same funtions but different prices and quality. Usually, the professional buyers of the supermarket have chosen the most proper equipments for the family use with the lowest price. After comparison, people could get a conclusive decision on which one to buy. More frequently, to buy all the necessary things in supermarket is one of the most general lifestyle for people living in the city. 

 

Because people like supermarket so much, they even travel from far away to buy things in the supermarket. Though they might be not sure that the traffic expense could be compensated by the cheap goods in the supermarket, they love the easy atmosphere and the convenience there. A lot of large supermarkets have their own bus to send their customers. Nevertheless, when there is a large supermarket near my community, people could save a lot of time for traffic. They could go shopping even more frequently, choose the comodity carefully, and buy as many things as they like.

 

A shopping center could serve people beter in that it includes not only a big supermarket but also other shops. Usually those relatively small shops are popular brands like Mesterbonwe, Janeswest, Balloon and so on whose clothes and shoes are modern and cheap. Young people would go shopping in those shops very frequently. They do not have to go to big stores far from their home to buy the clothes on sale. They could pick up the preferable styles in those shops. Moreover, since the thrifty of the shopping center, a lot of good restaurants with popular and distinctive foods could serve people better.

 

Therefore, large shopping center would be a leisure place with the most populartity to all the people in our community. I hope that center could be build as fast as possible. Then, people could benefit from it significantly.
