根据longman: potential for :The company certainly has the potential for growth.可见potential for是常用的，并且can potential应该是不正确的，can本身是有可能的意思！大家有没有在什么阅读中看到过can potential的用法？我没看到过。请nn指导！

根据longman对potential for的解释：

the possibility that something will develop in a particular way, or have a particular effect
potential for
The company certainly has the potential for growth.

我们可以看出，potential for后面应该是可能发生的事情，而本题中causing errors in judgment是已经发生的事情；

而且，for后面跟的应该是potential目的，而不是结果。所以，你可以说potential for growth，而不可说，potential for causing errors in judgment。

所以，还是E更好。（potentially有无逗号，还是有点差别的。）
