1。 我个人认为选B. 句子结构为：it was discovered 是主句主谓 that glass coatd with silver nitrate would turn yellow when fired in an oven是一个复合句作主句的宾语。 其中glass是宾语主句中的主语， coatd with silver nitrate 是动词短语做壮语， would turn 是谓语，when fired in an oven是从句。

2。选C , and then the sentence will make sence
