Fight Again--Start at 148th

早就计划今年秋季考托，但是软弱的kissin一直MMJJ，寒假就听了新东方，过了春节就没好好看过（单词一直没有看，看了忘，忘了看，再看在忘，干脆不看，总为自己找这样那样的理由开脱，为报考了米国暑期班--而把托福搁置一旁，但暑期班对托福没有任何的促进，平时交流和口语听力根本就不是一回事。基础--糟糕透顶，属于中学时单项选择题可以错三分之一以上，只能靠阅读拿分的人，至今没有考过大学的任意级。却固执地对语言有一种顶礼膜拜的好感！除了语法和单词（但是我知道这是基础的基础，所以不能输在起跑线上，该补的课就得低头去啃！）深深自卑于自己的懒惰和退让，作为校园里角落中人，一次次用并不突出的成绩企图为自己制造盾牌，但是防守永远不能代替进攻，我一定要用行动彻底地洗刷我的不安和恐惧！为了我的梦想，为了做一次自己，我决定

做一次铁人

除了学校的课本和卷子，展望未来自己随便翻了翻，从未碰过任何英文教材！！！很少看电影，喜欢discovery和国家地理

一直很喜欢CD温馨的学习氛围和及时齐全的资料，希望在大家的监督帮助下实现突破，向着梦想，CCCCCCCCCOME ON~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!

没过四G的却整天疯要IBT的狂人!!!

阅读就从一个一个不认识的单词查起，句字就一遍一遍的读，实在不行把整个一段都看下来，总要读懂的

四级跟IBT不搭界的，我也没考过四级……

不过LZ最好告诉我们你的考试时间，大概水平（除了四级），和备考的整个计划，这样比较好介入帮助……

谢谢LZ啦!还有LZ的LZ..! 我好紧张,时间太快了, 刚从SUMMER CAMP回来,交流还SOSO,但是--DELTA的模拟对我打击太大了,特别是阅读(3/4的正确率都不到),听力算算稍好点(23分),哭!!! 单词看不懂啊(特别是理科)汗!!!还有就是速度(阅读!)!!! 9.29 就要奔赴沙场了!在开学前集中精力冲刺IBT,向着100,前进!

教材: OG, DEL(蓝), LONG(绿),BAR(紫)--最后两周用

1-5D:     听力: OG 2)  + 蓝 ( 空) 精!

          阅读: 绿 ( S1-4)

          写作: 讲义 1/3 + 许

          单词: 5/天(多多...)

这是我近五天的计划,还请前辈们多多指教!多多监督!

第一段时间词汇很主要吧……

影响阅读速度的，就是词汇量跟长难句（T有没有长难句啊，实在不能算长或者难，比起S或G），还有屏读的习惯问题了……

推荐一下非牛人帖子吧……

嗨! 今天把作业进度帖出来,不好意思啊! 进度慢慢啊...基础的基础...单词(王玉梅20-29),还没复习的类!

听力:蓝Q6,Q7,Q8,(正确率平均80%),55555!考试这样一来就悬了...55555? 特别是表格题(排序,配对最难了? 怎么办呢? 前辈,快快支招,谢谢啊:-0

现在,赶紧做阅读去!还没开始呢,晚上看作文( 请各位推荐一下作文参考资料! 比如说那本老许的满分作文该怎么看呀?)

首先把基本的概念建立一下，模板瞧两眼就是了，关键是指出的ETS出题思路和中国学生经常犯的错误，必须要仔细看……

   Why people attend college?

 

Some young people have the option to directly enter the work pace after they graduate from high school. However, more and more make sure they got high scores of college entrance exam by studying hard, in order to attend the college for further studies. Even though the motive varies from individual to individual, we can find something in common of the reason why they choose to go to college.

 

The people who are voluntary and kwon what they should do, always have an unambiguous goal for studying at college. Before attending college, students have a limited opportunity to specialize.  By attending college, students can study basic professional knowledge and skills of a specialty thoroughly. As a job opportunity can not get easy, they must lay a good foundation during the 4-years undergraduate studying. Smart students may choose a major course in university which suits their needs of future jobs. For instance, applicants with Bachelor of lows degrees would not only be qualified for jobs in a court, they will be also well prepared for any job as a counselor in companies or government. And also, a college degree offers an access to jobs with a clear path towards professional advancement. A B.S. in biology could allow a student to find a job in lab after graduation, a first step on the road towards a career in scientific research. The same major could also be used to apply to medical school, and a career as a doctor. For those reasons, They are consciously or unconsciously putting their time and energies into study as an investment, hoping one day they could reaping a harvest. Sober enough as they are, they never spend time on part time job unless it is absolutely necessary to do so. They know exactly the concept of opportunity cost. They know learning any craft consumes time, but will have a better reward in the future. They refuse to enjoy immediate pleasure which in fact cost much before long. Actually, students attend to a college or university not only for increasing knowledge and preparing a career, but also to seek new experience, to have more fun, to enhance interrelationship and etc. 

 

Additionally, there are some people who made a decision to go to college merely because they are told by their parents and our society. Most of them are immature, and had a vague vision of their future. At most, they knew attending higher education would be benefit to them. Since they did not what is they aim to, they may waste a lot of precious time live in college.

 

Finally, people attend to college in order to learn more and deeply knowledge, to learn how to think and independent, to prepare well for adapting to the society.

137.     Should high school allow students to study the course that the students want to study?

 When it comes to the question of whether high schools should consent students to choose the courses which they would like to learn, there is no such things as a consensus. Some people believe students at high schools should perceive a various education to extend knowledge before they attend college, while others claim that students who study at high schools is old enough to make a choice of want to learn by themselves, not others ought them to.

In my opinion, there are both advantages and disadvantages of students picking their own courses in high school. The disadvantage is the high school students are too immature to make a good decision to choose a course which is suits for them and really require to study. As high school students should have comprehensive knowledge and lay a firm foundation, in order to attend college to study in a specialty better and favorably. Besides, nowadays, the communication and interchange in the fields of art, science, economy and other human activities unprecedented frequent, thus students need a comprehensive knowledge and experience. After the graduate, they can take off their career with a well-prepared which will lead them to a clear path towards professional advancement. For instance, Condoleezza Rice, the Secretary of States, received a rounded education by not only studying political science, international studies, but also learning piano, Russian, French, Military knowledge and so on when she was a student. Her formidable presence and steely persistence showed in her political career are based on her profound knowledge.

However, the advantage of studying a course which students would like to consciously would make them focus on one subject at an early age. To be versed in a specialty, require people spend numerous time on paying their attention to. In one word, the earlier who start to train and study in one field, the more preponderant who are. For example, Tomas Edison, one of greatest inventor whose inventions have vast amounts of beneficial impact on human beings in the last century, started to doing research in his own chemistry lab since he was eight years old. He made a tremendously big progress on his knowledge and imagination. It is not hard to imagine that he has thousands of inventions during his life because he started in an early age.

In conclusion, some curriculums should be required in high school but we should leave some courses that can be select by themselves based on the interest of each of each of them.
