Do you agree or disagree: It's better to watch the serious movie that helps people thinking than to watch movies that could amuse and entertain people?

    With the birth of movie to the world almost 100 years, it enormous enriches people's living. Depending on the improvement of technology that make it possible of the silent movie transfer to sound movie; Relying on constantly work of movie maker, who produce splendid film to the world that range from art's to emotion's, from detects to cartoon's, from tragedy's to comedy's. Currently, the topic issue is on the horizontal, whether watching the serious movie or amuse movie is better choice? With all respects carefully consideration, I prefer the former and cites several reasons to support my views.

    First of all, the serious movie could make people thought deeply, because of its content could touch the audience bottom of heart and never fade away in the memory. I want give example to demonstrate it, "save the private Ryen" is war movie, the story based on the reality in the Second World War, because of the cruelty of War that deprived of three of Ryen's brother life, so the commander of American army want to peace their mother then order a band of army to save Ryen in the field, after long trip, the band finally find him but cost of soldier's life. Deeply moved by the movie, I can not getting peace, the war can destroy our land and distort our mind, however, humanity, respect and ardent it, could not taken away by it.

    Secondly, a worthy movie will inspire us and arouse our responsibility to the world, another instance is the movie "An Inconvenient truth" , producer invites two reputed actors take part in, one is American pre-vice president Gore, who devotes his life to the environmental issue; the other is nothing but our mother land-the earth, in the beginning, what cast on the screen is green earth, then result from the human's exploit in last century, emitting polluted air, pumping waste water that lead to serious problem, Green House, the nature revenge to human, consequent earthquake, tornado. The screen of the wounded earth and earnest Gore hovering on my mind, always. So as an educated young adult, we never forget responsibility to society.

    Of course, the entertain movie have its merit, enjoying the happy it take us and releasing from the stress brought by the reality.

As far as the issue is concerned, despite entertain movie has its advantage, such as brought us laughter and relaxing, however, serious movie always touch the bottom of heart and arouse virtue and responsibility, so in my words, watching the serious movie is optimal choice.
