but I think they will believe you about the   a GPA2.4 can be top XX%.

I asked this question to the adm com, they said they understand the difference between the systems. if you can show some 证明, that will be ok.

Don't listen to these guys. Nobody believes a GPA2.4 can be top XX%. The best thing you can do is to make some convincing stories demonstrating you learnt a lot besides academics. For example, you found a poets association and publish poems. No school can check it since they don't understand Chinese poet.

据说West Point的平均GPA只有2 , 全校没有几个3.0以上的

I have the same GPA 2.4 in China, but I got the TA position in US in EE. And you can be top xx% in your class with 2.4. It is not kidding, Some chinese universities are abnormal.

Support!! I am facing this terrible problem. I don't want any cheat on my material. The only way is try to make some issue on some magzine, see if any help.

I think it was a few year ago.

Now many schools require at least 3.0 GPA to be eligible for application.

强烈地顶一下，偶的GPA也为2.4！但据说BS的老师对工作经验比较浅申请者的GPA比较在意，有4、5年以上工作经验的申请者则较重视GMAT和ESSAY。偶觉得有道理。所以没必要灰心。

偶gpa2.7,我在optional essay中解释了一下.关键是说明自己的academic ability完全能够胜任商学院的学习.如说明自己的大学评分较严;列举我在大学拿到了2个学位,xx%多少的学习双学位的学生最终拿到学位;自己参加了那些学校组织,社会活动,取得了什么成就,向他们说明虽然这占用了你不少时间,但是能学到很多书本上没有的东西.此外,好的gmat(偶是750)也能offset一下.

如果你有机会也可以修一些经济管理的课,争取straight A,这样也很有帮助.

我也就85/100左右。如果能够解释，应该好一些了。可以做个投票贴，就是在论坛的“发表话题”旁边有一个“发表投票”，那个应该就可以了。

如果不折合4.0制GPA的话我也可以达到平均83/100，可是如果一科一科折就很亏了。

请问TSLJZ，折算GPA的时候可以以最后的百分比折算吗，还是必须一科一科折成4.0制的然后再算平均分（可那样GPA一下就掉下来了）。
