We are living in the society full of(saturated with) information. Broadcasting and internet(Internet)
make the events happened abroad understood by us(unclear meaning, u can say: bring the foreign events to us) at the very first time. Although some of them seem to have no relationship with our daily lives temporarily, it is hasty to say that we can not make benefit from them some time.
Firstly, such events as terrorism and commercial or economic aggression are the problems all over the world nowadays. It is too flippant(seems this is ancient English, u can use "imprudent") to think that they definitely don’t or won't exist in our peaceful society. Understanding the approach of the foreign people to dealing with such problems can help us with our own issues.
To be a modern person pursuing high success in the career, it is also imperative to possess wide acknowledge(knowledge?) around the world. With the development of technology and the transportation, there are more chances for us to go to the place which is(places which are)
extremely(totally/completely/utterly) different from our own custom. The information accumulated from the events is helpful for us to immerge into the new custom as soon as possible and make the communication effectively.
Reading the international news is also an entertainment in our leisure time. It provides us topics when chatting with friends or relatives. For example, in recent newspapers, I caught the information that there was a subject in marine science which dedicated to investigating the intestinal gas expelled from the whales’ anuses. When I told such things to my colleagues in relax time, they all laughed, and the atmosphere became full of pleasure.
Admitted that(Admittedly,) there is so much information, that it is ridiculous for us to obtain all of them. But it is absolutely, that the more knowledge you hold, the higher success you will get, (and)the easier life you will receive. (294)
