跨专业问题如何解释

已经开始最痛苦的工作：PS 写作。我想申请MSF，可我原来是学工科的,不知该如何转到 FINANCE 上。这个问题已经苦恼了我数天，迟迟没有答案，不知各位GGMM 可有高招？如何解释跨专业的问题？

actually, mostly because of interest I choose my goals.

光是解释兴趣和目标的关系当然不行了，还需要解释你以前为了实现你的目标作了什么准备，比如，你喜欢finance，那么在你以前的工作中，有什么准备么？或者对於finance有什么了解？只有你能够说明你不但喜欢，而且为之付出努力了，这样你的goal才是可信的。

When you prepare a career switch, you should think about: your objective, options, and trends in the job market. If you can bridge all those toghether and find a way to move forward, then, that's a right time for it. If you could not figure it out in the current climate, ask youself whether it's a good move.

首先,你了解MSF学些什么吗?将来出来干什么吗?

其实MSF有很多数量分析的东西.比如,可以联系你以前的工科背景, 表示你对这方面的兴趣,并且你在以前的学习或工作中在数量分析方面有出色的表现...建议你到学校网站上,好好琢磨一下MSF到底学的是什么,寻找你们之间的"桥梁".

申请MSF不同于MBA,专业性比较强,还是得说明白为什么要SWITCHING CAREER.很多读MSF的,以前是工科背景,而且学校也愿意招这样的人.我认识的几个在读MSF的朋友,全是工科背景出身,之前一点金融行业工作经验都没有. 如果不说明为什么要换行业的话,反倒让学校觉得"那你干嘛来申请MSF?"
