This family got a pearl from sea what is so big and so shining, people believe that pearl is the largest one over the world, and it is valuable. “They were trying to seal the pearl, but I didn’t know why Kino was emerged with buyers in the town” said a neighbor. Kino’s brother, Juan Tomas, said “Kino wanted to escape the evil that pearl brought, perhaps he found another boat and went out onto the sea” Some people believe they will die and sink into the sea. Some people assert they are going to find other buyers in the capital city. Also, some people trust that the family disappear cause the evil pearl’s magic.

Character Sketch The doctor is a fat, wealth, middle age man, who lives in a lavish house in the La Paz town. He is full of avarice, deception and greed. He is of the race that has oppressed Kino’s people of generations. He enjoys dreaming his younger in Paris and he resents the poverty people of the village. He refuses to treat Indians unless they can prove they can pay for his treatment first. So, he refused to treat Kino’s son, Coyotito before Kino finds a great pearl. When he comes to treat Coyotito, Kino believes that he intentionally poisons his son, because he knows the worth that pearl will bring. Then, the doctor offers to store the pearl in his sate way, but Kino refuse him, the doctor uses the opportunity to discover where the pearl is hidden. So, such as those things I discovered about, the doctor is a devil.
