Comparing with applicants from China, your US degree and working experience could make u stand out. Additionally, you have been in the US for 8 years, hence I guess you must be having a US green card or at least at the stage of I-485 pending. So, when you apply for B-school, you will be treated as US applicants and they will lower the GMAT requirement for you.
I think you have very good odds to be accepted by top10.
I don't think GMAT is a problem to me. What I'm concerning is whether my background is too weak.
