我试着回答一下，如果不对，楼下继续...

1. she shattered expectations 与比较从句中had been表达不匹配，要是将比较从句还原的话就成了either Abigail Adams or Dolly Madison ever had been shattered，就不合适了
如果改成 more audaciously than ever did either Abigail Adams or Dolly Madison就对了

2.thus being...可以就近修饰 adulthood， 也可以做mountain yellow-legged tree frogs 的伴随结果状语，这样就会造成用法的混乱，不好

but I might change the phrase to: more audaciously than either Abigail Adams or Dolly Madison had ever done

不是很同意第二个问题的解答，这里很明确是分词-ing表伴随结果状语，整个句子都是原因，也就是分词无逻辑主语，这个be restricted是有主语的，所以不能这样用，大家讨论

我觉得是A啊，可是答案是D。NN们帮忙解释下吧，谢谢啦

首先这个题目排除BC,因为逻辑主语,总统不能当第一夫人那

然后看ADE

A,有个狠明显的错误,就在于ever had been. 预感中至少也是had ever been.而且这里 more than也是比较结构,前后的内容应该平行.狠明显这个地方的had been不能和前面的内容平行.

E.也有个狠明显的错误, in the caes of Abigail Adams or of Dolly Madison's,既然是or,那么内容也应该平行,但是 of Abigail Adams和 of Dolly Madison's,不平行.

而且appoint的用法应该是 xxx is appointed xx职务.这个地方的to be a delegate也不对

根据平行原则,青蛙只能和青蛙平行

答案在DE之间选择

按照那个原则,"当绝对排除A的前提下,找和A近的那个选项"

那就是E了.

仔细看也还是E,因为take... to...,是个词组啊, 只是第一个空里面填写了(3-4 years)

后半句,狠明显2个句子因果关系,但是thus只能当副词,不能连接句子,所以一定要有and的帮助,故而D错了
