现在人们比以前更加注重外表和时尚，你是否同意。2006年1月6号

写了半天

不知道是不是走题，不知写作的重点应该放在外表和时尚的重要性上，还是应该对过去的人和现在的人作对比。
Nowadays, some may hold the opinion that there are more and more people  to place a strong emphasis to the appearance and the fashion than ever before. But others have a opposite attitude to that . As far as I am concerned, I agree that the former statement. In the following discussing , I would like to present much evidence to favor  my arguments .

 

 

To begin with , it is common that in modern life, people spend  more time and more money on improving their appearance. With the development of society, every one have to pursuit the fashionable matters to improve his own appearance, which signals his  character and self-image. In other words, it is a need for adapting oneself to modern society. Just imagine if you dress yourself with a gown as the ancient people do, what will be like.

 

 

Moreover , having a fashionable looking can play a important role in many cases. The case in point is that when you are designated to welcome clients of your company, it is important for you to pay attention to your appearance ,which is on behalf of the entire company. In sum, pursuing  for fashion makes us full of vigor and make our life full of interest.

 

 

Although fashionable things have more advantages than the traditional ones and good looking is better than  bad looking, searching for fashion blindly might have bad effect on your life.That may make you a waste of your money for some luxuries . As the saying does, the  thing turns into its opposite if pushed too far.

 

 

In a word, taking into account of all these factors, we may reach the conclusion that putting more emphasis on the appearance and the fashion is reasonable, however, it is not suggested that people think much of that than ever before.
