China’s first private business school, the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, is punching above its weight in the international faculty market, attracting professors from top US schools to China.
From July 1, Wei Li, professor of economics at the Darden school at the University of Virginia, will join Cheung Kong in a similar role. The second new faculty member from the US is Brian Viard, assistant professor at Stanford, who will join Cheung Kong as an assistant strategy professor.
Jun Liu, from the Rady school at the University of San Diego, will also join Cheung Kong as a visiting associate professor of finance.
