Emily Dickinson’s letters to Susan Huntington Dickinson were written over a period beginning a few years before Susan’s marriage to Emily’s brother and ending shortly before Emily’s death in 1886, outnumbering her letters to anyone else.

A的outnumbering指代不清.

A的意思是1886 outnumber emily寫給任何人的信,但句子的正確意思是 emily寫給susan的信outnumber他寫給任何人的都多.

A和E表达的意思不同,尽管语法都对。

但是怎么能从划线句子推断原句正确的意思呢?

而且E的which were可以省略,也不够简洁啊?

感觉上E的结构比较好,但是无法说A有什么错。

当时我选了A,因为原句如果不存在逻辑问题,谓语一般不改成修饰成分,修饰成分也一般不改成谓语

E中有两个问题,第一是“,which”,反正是GMAT极度不喜欢的用法,特别是逗号前的词还不是which的先行词。第二,outnumber是不是应该用过去式?

A中的outnumbering逻辑主语是句子主语,和1886没有什么关系。
