If CEIBS is an international bschool, it must insist using English as its working language. If its full-time MBA graduates cannot feel comfortable using English, its quality is questionable, or it cannot be called an international bschool at all.

It is sure that English is our working language and we just use English in class -- if you attend our classes, you may know that. but for info session, we also want to share information with prospective applicants who are not going to apply for CEIBS immidiately with insufficient English.

If you did so in three months, I must say you did a miracle. For average person, 3 months is not sufficient.  it is completely different for a person to speak some simple english from for a person to speak FLUENT english. What I am talking about is your english must be good enough to handle your routine at work.

sometimes a person who just immenses into a completely new language environment, he will suffer cultural shock as well. That means he needs more time to get adapted to the new culture, learning something new and customs. in this sense, 3 months is too short a period.

The question is, 3 months short exchange program may not offer you many chances to open your mouth. it is especially so if you have no confidence in your spoken language in the first place. someone may prefer to make believe that he can understand what he learns in class, avoiding direct challenges and interaction with other classmates. under the challenge of tough workload, he may spend more time on the course work, rather than interact with others, minmizing the chances to expose himself to english using environment.

That is great. If we can insist using english even at info sessions, a strong impression can be created among the prospective students, an impression that under no circumstances you can turn to Chinese to communicate in study at Ceibs. Working language should mean that that is the only official language for communications in class, between faculty and students and among students.

Thank you for the sharing. That is what concerns me now because I prefer to a two year program to a one year one. I want to make it a sure thing that I have a good command of English, speaking and writing, and feel comfortable working and interacting with people from different countries.
