一步：主动形式表被动含义：动词prove常常以主动的形式表被动的含义，如I prove innocent,但是，加入反身代词后，表示自己证明自己，如I prove myself innocent.

BCD选项与原句相比，添加了itself，改变了原句合理的意思，排除BCD(其实我很火大的看他这么解释，因为和从谈起原句么)

二步：定语从句做定语和-ing分词做定语的区别：-ing分词做定语：强调动作的多次性，重复性，客观性，无明确的时间概念；定语从句做定语：强调动作的一次性，强调具体时间，具体行为。

从逻辑关系上看，飞机的机关炮（cannon）的动作（shoot dead chickens）是具体时间的具体行为，而不是多次性的行为（机关炮总是在shoot dead chickens），所以，E选项的that定语从句比A选项的-ing分词短语更符合上下文逻辑关系和生活事理。排除A（强词夺理我认为，完全的强词夺理）
