Exactly, if you actually study abroad, you'll find out it is very unlikely that a professor who just knows you less than few months would provide a great recommendation.

I have decided to go to one year program, because my undergraduate background was accounting and therefore some mudules would be waived, which would resuit in the short term of studying. The following questions I also would like to obtain your suggestions:

1: From your perspective and experience, can I utilize the GPA of undergraduate and the GPA of first semester of master to apply for PHD?

2: with regards to excellent recommendation letter from professors in U.S.A, because I have already contacted one of professors on applying for Master. And I have utterly decided to come to the University this professor teaches there. Could your give me some tipping points regarding how to make a good connection with this professor at current situation in order to let him know more about me? On the other hand, with reference to other professors, I think that making the good class after going to university.

I know one year one program will be notoriously difficult for me to applying for PHD degree, but I still try to make it and really want to get your suggestion and assistance. Thank you!

我也准备念07fall的MSA/MACC，可是如果申08的觉得时间很紧迫。如果申09的前辈们觉得怎么样呢？

念完了MACC后，如果回国工作的话，再从国内申请PHD会不会比直接从米国申请困难？

另外我本科也是Acc的，有什么办法提高自己的数理背景呢？
